ADE crashes when try to transfer library books to Kobo

Since the introduction of ADE 4 and upgrade to OSX Yosemite I have been unable to download library books to my Kobo Aura via my macbook.

Books download to mac but ADE crashes when try to transfer to Kobo.  I have uninstalled ADE4 and tried earlier version (on the advice of my library), re-authorised my macbook and tried to reauthorise Kobo and while the latter appears to happen via the mac, the Kobo account states it isn't authorised with ADE.  I get the undernoted Error Message.  Help please!
