ADE creates duplicates of some books and it is not possible to delete them

Adobe Digital Editions creates duplicates of some books and it is not possible to delete them, because after a while they reappear again. When I delete the duplicates, they disappear momentarily, but if I open any book and then close it, returning to the main window where the list of books is, the deleted books reappear again.

The deleted books also appear again when I close ADE and then reopen it. ADE is a really bad program, this is the second error that I can't solve, because I have already opened another help request. The Adobe support forum is useless because no one helps you. I am using Windows 10.
