ADE doesn not let me see pages in files

Hi everyone,

I've just installed Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 on Win10 and added some files to the Library (the files were available on Adobe websites). They get added but then I cannot change pages. When I open ADE again after a few minutes, it opens on the page I'd selected previously (as if it was getting blocked for a long time). I've tried uninstalling this version and installing 3.0 - the same problem persists. I've tried right-clicking and running as administrator - the same problem persists.

Could you please help me out? Thanks
