ADE doesn't help with Kobo Libra

I have ADE latest version 4.5.1 It doesn't help me when trying to transfer books to my Kobo Libra. I am constantly getting the DRM message. I have to go a roundabout way to de-DRM books that takes literally hours to accomplish. Why is the app so disappointing?
