ADE doesn't show my ereader

I have downloaded a book from my neighbourhood library.  It shows up on my Bookshelves, but in the left hand column my ereader does not appear so I can't drag the book.  I tried exiting ADE then disconnecting and reconnecting the Kobo, but it still fails to show in ADE.  Thanks.C
