ADE don't appear in library

I am using ADE with Windows 10 PC.  I do all the usual steps to download from library but the book doesn't show up in library list in the app.  I see it in my downloads un der the folder My Digital Editions, but I can't get it to show in ADE software.  It shows up at first but then when I check back the books are gone.  So I can't return them to library early!!  help

    Has you try:
    Start Digital Edition.
    Go to file > add to library.

    Choose the file.

    When I try add library The document you want add already exists in the library.

    Then seems your Library damages.
    Closed Digital Edition.
    Go to My Documents and rename the my digitaled Folder to My digital Edition.old

    Then start Digital Edition again and try to open the eBook
