ADE download failed, lost former edition

I originally wanted to "chat" but the site took me in a loop whenever I tried that. How do I get to chat?

When I followed my publisher's directions to download and open the e-text in ADE, I not only couldn't open; I got a big question mark on my ADE icon and lost my former, Norton e-edition. What can I do now?
