ADE Error message

I bought books that displayed very well on ADE until recently. I get the following error message:

am unable to open any books in ADE 4.5.10. Get error message: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:
E_ACT_NOT_READY

I am unable to de-authorise and erase my account to re-authorise it. It seems as if I can type in any password that will take me to the erase page. Thereafter I get the message that it is not possible now, try later.

I use a Macbook Pro with Mojave.
