ADE just freeze on the cover page that is a full image

I bought a digital book and can only be opened by ADE. Seriously if not because of that I willl never use ADE.

Every time I move to another chapter, the book has a "cover page" for that chapter which is a full image page.

And there it is the ADE will just hang. 

I use Windows 10 and it is a new HP powerful laptop.
