ADE Library not loading

When i use my Nook and download a book from my library the book appears to download but i am unable to transfer it to my Nook as the Digital Editions Library  won't open . It appears to be trying to find the library, but it never does. I have waited for over an hour and it still is the same screen with the Digital Library and it says opening, but it never does.
