ADE ok on Windows PC, but not reading ePUB files on Android

Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is working very well on my Windows 7 PC.

It opens .epub , .3.epub and .mobi file all OK.

However, when I install ADE on my Samsung Android Galaxy S5 mobile,#

go to the .epub file and open it, selecting ADE as the app to open,

then ADE opens but the .epub file doesn't . . . .

I have no idea why?

Has you authoirze the adroid app with your Adobe ID?

Yes. I have and Adobe ID and Password and it confirms on the Android that the device is 'authorised'
