ADE on Chromebook

hello.

I just got an Asus Chromebook,  and I cannot make ADE work properly on it. It seems that only a limited version in avaliable on Chrome OS, so I can see my library, but no other options are shown. My Tolino ebook reader is connected and recognised by the laptop, but ADE doesn't see it, so I can't transfer books that I bought. I never had this problem with other Windows based laptops, so I'm guessing the problem is the Chromebook.

      Windows 10 is going out of support in October 25 with nearly 50% of Windows users currently using it. A large proportion cannot upgrade to Win 11 so billions of useful machine are going to landfill. WHY IS ADE NOT AVAILABLE ON LINUX OR CHROMEBOOKS. MacOS is based on Unix/Linux why cannot it be ported? Why cannot it be a web application.?
