Ade won't open acsm files nor accept when chosen option "open with"

I have tried using it with Freading and Overdrive and none of them worked.

I am using a laptop with windows 7.

I am able to open ADE and I can open the samples. I just can't open the files from Freading or Overdrive.

I have tried to associate the file with ADE and the computer won't accept it.

I have taken the laptop to be checked by tech and it is working fine.

Try to drag and drop acsm file directly to ADE library.

I have tried dragging the file too and it doesn't accept.
