ADE Won't Open -- Cannot See Anything

Hopefully I can get some help here -- when I click on the ADE shortcut, the icon appears on the taskbar at the bottom of my screen (Windows 11), but there is nothing to see. I can see the program with ALT-TAB, and I can see it running in Task Manager too, but I can't actually see the window. Any ideas?
