ADE won't recognise my Google Play username/password iot upload a Google Play book

Trying to upload a Google Play book into ADE to move it across into my Kobo. Won't let me authorise my computer with Google Play - says my password/username are wrong. They're not. I've tried Google - they say I must ask you for help. Can you help me?
