ADE won't recognize my device

Hi,I have my nook hooked up to windows 10.I downloaded an epub book through ADE from it through Smash words .I saw the book in ADE but it didn't recognize my device.I don't know how to remedy this problem.I made sure it was in library view.If anyone can help me achieve this I'd be very grateful.Thank You
