Admin access is required to open Adobe Digital Editions

My current profile does not have admin access.  I installed Adobe Digital Editions using my profile and with an admin. account.  Now each time it asks me for the admin. password.  Is there a way to get around this?  Should I install the software with a logged in administrator account instead of a regular user profile?
