Adobe Digital 2.0 stopped working?

The siolution to Adobe digital 2.0 on Windows 8 is to download the older version 1.7 and you are on.

There are lots of bugs with ADE2.0, and for that reason I have often suggested people install v1.7.2 instead.

In a lot of cases they have reported back success from the change.

(I call the move from v2.0 to v1.7.2 an upgrade; I don't think that's the offical Adobe term.)

That said, I find that ADE2.0 can work on my Windows 8 (within the limits of these bugs).

I don't usually run it because of the SONY/Overdrive bug
