Adobe Digital and Kobo Aura One e-reader

I am having trouble using Adobe digital edition 4.5 and transferring downloads to my Kobo Aura  One. 

I literally have done everything:

re-installed 4.5 and 3.0 Adobe

de-authorized my device and reauthorized it

it literally says it is not responding. 

It worked for a month and then all of sudden it doesn't anymore.  Any pointers?
