Adobe Digital Edition 4.5.7 and for example eBook Campbell Biology

With Adobe Ditigal Edition for iPad I can read this eBook without problems. If I like to read it with Adobe Digital Edition for Windows, the eBook is not readable, because all is very, very, very, very slow. Until now, I didn't find a way to accelarate this. I've this problem on all windows-notebooks. I Use the latest version of windows 10 pro.

So: the very expensive eBook Campbell Biology is completely unuseable with Windows Adobe Digital Edition!

This problem is not new - I wonder that it is not possible to solve it in a reasonable time??????? If it works on iPad, it should work on a powerfull windows-notebook too.

So Adobe, hurry up - make an effort!

Are there any working solution than "please install new" (which doesn't work)?
