Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 will not start

Installed Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 on windows 10 PC, windows restarted I assume after an update while I was copying books to ADE.

After the restart ADE will not start, removed all related files and reinstalled not go.

Suggestions?

Thanks Nanaky but already tried that as well as compatibility modes no good tries to start then nothing...

I have been reading other posts and think I will check and delete all the legacy directories and reinstall again to be sure.

one post mentions a corrupt Book which may be the case as I was copying books to ADE when the computer restarted.

Windows 10 has any permissions problems with Digital Edition. When the option run as admin then try it with a new admin: Create a local user account in Windows 10 - Windows Help -
