Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 won't load

Question

Every time I attempt to download a book from the library using the new OverDrive, I can't open Adobe Digital Edition.  It just says it's loading but nothing happens.  I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, installed version 3.0 and 2.0 but it still does not work.  I downloaded one book to my ereader successfully using the new OverDrive, but have been unable to do so since.  Can anyone assist?

I am having the same problem. Version 3.0 just gave me an error message. The download looks complete but doesn't go away. And then I don't get the book at all. This has happened with one other book that I think probably had a lot of pictures in it so it wouldn't load.

Is there a way to fix this?
