Adobe Digital Edition problems

I have tried on 2 laptops and there were issues with ADE. Either the downloaded ebook is not there on one laptop and on the other, the opened ebook just go stuck on the cover page and not allowing me to go to the next page.

I tried also to select the acsm file in the downloaded folder and select open with, but ADE did not show up on the list.

I have tried unstalled and installed 2.0 and 4.5 and authorized it on the windows 7 laptop.

What else can I do? Thanks Cecilia

    Closed Digital Edition.
    Make sure that you has only one version of Digital Eidtion at moment installed.

    Rename the Folder My Digital Eiditon to My Digital Edition.old under you Documents.

    Start Digital Edition.

    Go to FIle > Add to Library.
    Choose the file.
