Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11.187245 not working on OS 13.4.1 (M1)

Everytime I import a book to ADE a pop up window says: Fulfilling ... *book title* (downloading content) but Digital Editions window won't finish nor close. Only way is to force quit ADE. - The book is then in my ADE folder, and I have to lauch ADE again to start next procedure... you're program sucks. Can you fix it asap pls?
