Adobe Digital Editions

Recently we had our computer cleaned up and we lost our Adobe Digital Editions application.  I downloaded the Adobe Digital Editions 4.54 for windows from the Adobe website.  I followed all the prompts and loaded it to our computer.  I can't move or load e-books from our county library, as we did in the past, to our computer.  It appears that we lost the path from the library to our computer.  Any suggestions?
