Adobe Digital Editions - Authorization Issues

Hello Everyone,

so I recently downloaded Adobe Digital Editions on my MacBook, and when I tried to open an e-book, I got an access error shown. I then tried deauthorizing my ADE and that did not work due to the following:

ADE asked for the password respective of the authorized ID. The problem is, the authorized ID is based on an invalid email address. I do not use that email address anymore and so I have no idea what the password could be. As such, I am unable to deauthorize ADE and cannot access my e-book.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
