Adobe Digital Editions can't launch

Hi there, first time using Adobe Digital Editions. loaded latest version 4.5.10. Launch the app and an icon shows on the task bar and task manager but nothing pops up. Running on a blank new laptop with Windows 10. Appreciate any help.
