Adobe Digital Editions defaults to Spanish

I speak english.  my computer interface is english.  why does this program default to spanish?

there are no solutions available in the forums. 

i have a suggestion.  add a drop down menu or preferences section where users can select which language they prefer.

i really hope there's answer posted here soon.... or I'm going nuclear with Adobe... I am a cloud subscriber.
