Adobe Digital Editions folder and activation files not appearing; ACSM file won’t open

I have been experiencing serious issues with Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) and would appreciate any help.

I installed ADE on multiple computers and authorized each with my Adobe ID.

Although the authorization process completes successfully, the Digital Editions folder and activation files such as activation.dat do not appear in the %LocalAppData%\Adobe\Digital Editions directory.

I have enabled hidden files view, run ADE as administrator, temporarily disabled firewall and antivirus software, and reinstalled ADE on different devices, but the problem remains.

I contacted Adobe customer support and followed their instructions to sign out and sign back in, deauthorize and reauthorize, but still face the same issue.

Additionally, I purchased an epub.acsm file through Google Play, but ADE fails to open this file due to activation server errors and license issues.

Because of this, I cannot access my purchased eBook or use ADE properly.

I am very frustrated as the Digital Editions folder and activation files do not appear, and the ACSM file won’t open. If anyone has experienced this or knows how to fix it, I would be grateful for your guidance.
