Adobe digital editions forgotten password how to retrieve it

I forgot my password to log in Adobe digital edition.  How do I retrieve a forgotten password?  Thank you

    Hi.Yes this problem was related to my ADE account and it is an independent
    application I know. I solved the problem by deleting the Application and
    all associated folders and files (hidden). When I reinstalled the
    application, I had to recreate a new account. I can read on the e-reader
    again. Just so you know and can help other ADE users in the future.
