Adobe Digital Editions Fraud

I cannot copy, highlight, or add a note to the text of my book on Adobe Digital Editions. I have talked to customer service twice about this and they refuse to answer the question. Any ideas on what is happening here?

    Digitial Edition are COSTFREE. This Products was not support directly from Adobe.

    Has you check the permission of the eBook if you can copy the file? Right click on the eBook and choose Media-info in Digital Edition.

    I purchased the textbook. I am not trying to copy the file. I am trying to copy a few sentences every 7 or 8 pages.

    Any eBooks are with protection are block also the Copy of the Text. Has you ask the Reseller if the copy of the content is permitted?
