Adobe Digital Editions Is literally the worst

Hey everyone, are there any third party tools that will help Digital Editions?

I have to use it for documents as its the EReader my industry uses, and im so over it.

-slow scrolling

-inconsistent scrolling 

-no text edit options

-bookmarks... just wow.. i mean all of it. 

any help?
