Adobe Digital Editions isn't recognizing my Google login

I'm trying to read some Google Play books but Adobe Digital Editions won't recognize my regular, application-specific, or authenticator-generated passwords. Does anyone know what to do?

I'm on a MacBook Pro, running the latest version of Yosemite or whatever they're calling it this week.
