Adobe Digital Editions not recognizing Kobo Touch

Hi. I installed ADE, but when I plug my Kobo Touch into my Windows 10 PC, ADE doesn't recognize it.  There is no 'Devices' option on the ADE screen.  What am I doing wrong?  (I tried ADE v. 4.5 and 3.0)

      I am having the same problem with our two kobos and I still have not found a solution. I use a Mac. Has anyone found out what to do?
