Adobe Digital Editions - Troubleshooting

Hello,

I use Adobe Digital Editions (Version 4.5.2.151207) for school's book. Adobe is very slow and freeze. When adobe was a freeze, I had to close through Force Quit application. Please, may you help me address this issue
