Adobe Digital Editions WAY TO SLOW Wont Save Wont Underline Wont go to single page Wont extract

I have spent hours trying to figure out how to make the best use out of reading my 449 page ebook using Adobe Digital. Is there anyway to convert it to a Adobe reader or Word, or anything other than Adobe Digital, this is the worst application I have ever used in all my years.

It also does not save my notes, will not underline, will not allow copy, on and on and on. And worst of all its super slow!!! Is there any other options?
