Adobe Digital problem with downloading more than one book

I can only download one book then I have to use Control/Alt/Delete to close out the program.  It will not do anything after the one book and you cannot just exit the program.  Is there anything I can do to correct the problem.  I have uninstalled and installed the program several times but sill the same.  This just started in the last two months.  Any help would be surely appreciated.
