Adobe Digital Reader email address change

When trying to down load book it tells me its unlicensed,  so I have investigated and I am advised to unauthorize and then authorize again. The trouble is its a very old email account and I do not have password. There appears to be no way to update this. Have tried removing prog and installing new program but it keeps installing same email address.

Any ideas please.
