Adobe Editions 4.5 erasing problem

I am having a problem erasing Library book titles from the Adobe Digital Editions library. When I remove book titles from the Adobe Digital Editions Library page, each time when I log out of Adobe and re-open the Library page all the so called removed books re appear. I have tried to remove the titles many times with no success. Please advise why the titles and book covers re appear??????
