ADOBE freezes

I recently just downloaded Adobe Digital Editions and downloaded my e-book. When clicking next for next page, the whole app just hangs there on the same page. Anyone has an idea how i can troubleshoot this?

    Curious if I am having the same problem.  I can see the page numbers at the bottom change as I use the table of contents to click on a page or the scroll bar, but the actual page with text does not change.  If I change the Page View, the page updates to the page number showing at the bottom.  Very painfull.
