Adobe I.D

I created an Adobe I.D on my work email address, I no longer work there and forgot the password. I tried to retrieve the password, but it sends the password link to my work address which is no longer active. I can't access any of my Ebooks, because I can't get the password for my Adobe I.D. Please advise me how I can retrieve the email password or switch the licensing over to a newly created Adobe I.D.
