Adobe id no longer exists

There was a post in January 2016 entitled: email ID no longer available

I am locking this discussion since a duplicate appears here: email ID no existe más‌. If you need additional troubleshooting, please respond to that thread.

 

The link in "email ID no existe más‌" is to forums.adobe.com/thread/2056536 but this just returns to the Adobe Support Community Forum home page. Does anybody know where this answer is?

    Just went browsing e-books and found the book I was struggling with as a free download. I deleted the 

    original copy, downloaded the free one, and it is now back on my e-reader and readable! Much relieved. Thanks to those who responded. (Still haven't found the answer to the question, but I hope I will never need to.)
