Adobe Reader without internet connection?

Dear All,

I am working with someone to proof an ePub book and would like to have them read it on Adobe Digital Editions free reader.  They would like to proof the book on an older computer that does not have an internet connection.  Is there any way that Adobe Digital Editions can be installed on an older computer without an internet connection?   Can it somehow be transferred from one computer to another without an internet connection and direct download through the App Store?   I don't think so, but just thought I'd ask.  Thanks.
