Question

After installation, the ADE 2.0 fails to launch

It gives an Error message: ADE has stopped working - Windows is looking for a solution & closes the window after a while.

I run Windows 7 HP. I disabled my firewall & closed McAfee Total Protection to see if it would help. No luck.

Can someone please assist?

    I don't know that exact issue.  Unless you need one of the (few) extra features of ADE2.0 ...

    There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0.  Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.

    (You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

    Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
