I know that kindle doesn't support ePub, and that in order to read an eBook purchased in ePub format, I should convert it to PDF. I downloaded a couple of books from ADE free library, just to try.  Then I tried, with 3 different conversion programs, to convert them in PDF, but it doesn't work. My question is: the problem is just for ADE books or for any ebook I buy with the support of ADE?  For instance, if I buy a book from Fnac, Fnac delivers the book to me, using ADE:  then how can I convert the book purchased this way, so that I can use my kindle to read it?

Amazon has chosen not to have the Kindle support Adobe DRM, and DRM prevents you from converting to another format.  So there is no legal way to view pruchased content that is restricted with Adobe DRM on your Kindle.
