all my bookmarks and markings disappeared, how do i fix this?

like the ttitle said i was reading a E-book on adobe digital edition 3.0 and suddenly i'm back at page one and all my markings and bookmarks are gone

how do i get it all back

this is a study book i was marking all the important things, i'm on a deadline don't tell me i have to start all over again
