Android does not recognize adobe digital edition for .acsm file

So, I downloaded a book from vlebooks and authorized adobe digital editions on android as well but when I click on the downloaded .ascm file, it takes me to play store to download the supported app even though adobe digital editions in already downloaded and authorized. I tried the same for windows 10 and it worked fine.
