Android version won't synch and crashes

I've got an ePub with DRM open in Digital Editions on my PC, but Android app on my phone (Galaxy S9 with Android V10) doesn't synch with my library even though I've authorised it and switch on Auto Download. I've tried connecting my phone to my PC and nada. When I try to open the ePub directly on my phone, the app crashes every time.
