Attempting to return a borrowed e-Book early I get Error E_BAD_LOAN_ID How do I return the book?

How do I return a borrowed e-Book early to the Washington Anytime Library?  I keep getting an error message:  E_BAD_LOAN_ID

I am registered with Adobe Digital Editions.

    Ask your Library if have a problem at time. I get the same error before but the Library has a Problem with the eBook which want return.

    Hi,

    You should contact Washington Anytime Library and check the status of that particular book. In some cases, the book gets returned but it still stays in ADE Library and you get this error message when you try to return it.
