Authorisation

I have changed laptops. I de-authorised the old lapto and then uninstalled Adobe Digital Editions. I have installed it on th enew laptop and tried to authorise. Error message received "You can only authorise this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorise any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again".

Do I need a new email ID? How do I authorise this new computer?
